Disney Wish State Room Review

Friday, July 7, 2023

For our cruise aboard the Disney Wish, we chose a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.

Our stateroom was located Starboard Side in room 6672 on deck 6. Disney states it is 243 square feet including the private verandah. Sleeps 3 to 4 people. Our stateroom included a queen size bed both size had night stands with outlets, single convertible sofa, and a single upper berth pulldown.

Our queen bed was elevated so that we had under the bed storage to put suitcases and other items of choice.

The upper berth and sofa bed is transformed by your stateroom host in the evening turn down.

We had a "split bath" in our stateroom. As soon as you entered our room the first bathroom was immediately to the right. It had a vanity, sink, shower and tub with glass door. The other was the next door and it had a vanity, sink and toilet. Across from the bathrooms were closets/storage. You have an area with hangers and life jackets can be found here. There is also a safe for your valuables.

A heavy privacy curtain separate the sitting area and our queen bed. We usually had it pull back. Our sitting area had a tv, desk, couch, and a ottoman. Our fridge was also located here.

Our Verandah was breathtaking. It was so relaxing first thing in the morning to just sit and stare. The balcony includes patio furniture (2 chairs and round small table) deck lighting, railing and childproof locks on the door. There are dividers to the rooms besides you to give you privacy. If you have a connected stateroom, your stateroom host can open the dividers to share - creating a bigger balcony for your family.

The theme of our stateroom was Frozen. Above our queen bed was a beautiful Frozen mural. We were excited to get the Frozen theme. I highly recommend an Oceanview stateroom with a verandah if it's in your budget!
